Terms of Use

Last updated: 28 October 2026

These terms apply to the Rentiary England public beta operated by James Harbour trading as Rentiary.

What Rentiary provides

Rentiary provides tools for renters to create, preserve, organise, review, share and export a tenancy evidence record. The service is not legal representation and does not guarantee a deposit return, legal result or dispute outcome.

Your responsibility

You are responsible for information you enter and for having a lawful basis or permission to upload and share files. Do not upload unlawful content, malicious files or use the service as generic cloud storage.

Evidence and reports

Rentiary can record timestamps, hashes, report versions and audit events. These are evidence-management features, not a claim that a report is independently or legally certified. A reviewer's silence is not treated as acceptance.

Move-out comparisons

Move-out comparison records factual differences between the recorded move-in baseline and later observations. Rentiary does not automatically decide whether a difference is tenant damage, fair wear and tear, landlord responsibility or a valid deduction.

Availability and beta changes

The public beta may be changed, corrected or temporarily interrupted while reliability and security are improved. Where practical, Rentiary will avoid changes that undermine an already locked evidence record.

Your evidence

Complete tenancy export remains available without a recovery paywall. If you request deletion, Rentiary recommends exporting first.
